About me:

I am a 31 yr old female in a commited relationship of 5 years to my girlfriend Jen. She is one of the most wonderful things that has happened to me. I cannot imagine life without her. We met on the web on gay.com in 2002 while I was doing my internships. We built a house in 2003 and enjoy our home with 3 dogs Veda, Layla, and Whitley and 2 cats Loki and Akeno. I work as an occupational therapist and rehab manager in a skilled nursing facility. I enjoy my profession and my job. I learn so much from working with the elderly. I can truely say I feel like I make a difference in my job and profession. I have fibromyalgia and that is big part of my life but I do not let it get the best of me. I was dx in October of 2004 and it was an up hill battle at first but I am on some meds and supplements that help. I also take a lot of hot baths, exercise, and use relaxation techniques to help me. I also have ulcerative colitis which is an autoimmune condition of colon causing me to have ulcers and other symptoms. UC also comes with joint pain and fatigue that can make my fibro even worse. I love to be with friends and having a good time. ..
