The Bay Mustang Club formed in the hopes of bringing area Mustang owners & enthusiasts together. Also formed to inform the community of the enjoyment and value of owning and restoring America's first and favorite "pony car". The club was founded in October of 1988 by Susan and Don Sielke, who first noticed the numerous area Mustangs and a lack of an organized club. After running an advertisement in the local newspaper, nine people attended the first meeting and the club was born. The Mustang Club of America formally recongnized the club as a Regional Group in June of 1998.
Since then, the club has expanded tremendously, both in membership and community involvement. Owners and enthusiasts of both classic and late model Mustangs are encouraged to join the club, whether their cars are stock or modified. Individuals do not have to own a Mustang to join the club. Bay Mustang prides itself as being one of the most active clubs in the area, frequently having "FUN RUNs" for charity, hosting Ford auto shows, cruising to area events, or simply getting together to have a good time!
