Founded in 2007, Bayonet Records distributes and records artists who stand out for their individuality and force of character. We believe that music should be fierce, gentle and holy - but bad enough to drive a saint to drink.
We also like to think we book gigs for other bands, but that's still a work in progress. If you would like to help us get off our arses and do more work, you should not contact us because we like music and drinking, playing gigs and booking shows, not exercise...

The Orphanage have just released their first recording - The Josephine EP. It's being sold only at shows in a limited edition run of 150.

Tom's sophomore album, Roadside Crosses, was released in Melbourne on the 27th November 2008. It's due for national release in Feb 2009.

For now, it's available for purchase at Polyester Records, on Brunswick St, Fitzroy.
And The Last Record Store, on Smith Street, Collingwood.

The first release on the Bayonet Records label is out: "Blue Day Requiem" by Melbourne based artist Tom Woodward. It is a rugged, rocky ride into the wilderness of a dead man's imagination. It is available in all good record stores in Australia & New Zealand. Distributed by Creative Vibes.
