About me: Short biography
1996 was the year BBoy Pelezinho started breakdancing. Throughout the years he belonged to such a crews like BBoys New Style (1998-1999) and Supersonic Bboys (2000-2002). Acumulating Awards, Battle experience, and showbusiness knowledge. He had already worked as the official bboy for the brazilian rapper Marcelo D2 tours. The next level was reached with the invitation for the 2005 Red Bull BC One in Berlin. A recognition of his work and speedy-acrobatic style. Then he had participated in the BBoy World Cup 2006, Red Bull BC One 2006 and R16 Sparkling Korea 2007.
Pelezinho was one of the surprises this event – his entrance in the international BBoy circuit – when he took a fourth place. His style is acrobatic, powerful and creative, with its roots in brazilian culture including elements of capoeira and samba, surprising the audience with great combinations and suicidal flicks. To be a bboy is to respect family and fellow bboys, the history of bboying and the dance itself in Pelezinho’s opinion. At the moment, he is working with the Brazilian Rock Band Charlie Brown JR on their tour around the country.
