About me:

Miguel Quic Rojas known as B-boy Quic, was born and raised in the Bronx NYC and has traveled a great journey to become the man he is today. Being Puerto Rican during the 80’s and 90’s in the birth place of Hip Hop, Quic was always exposed to music, culture and dance. His family danced salsa and his sister got him into hip hop at a young age. At the age of 18 Quic started his first B-boy crew in Atlanta Ga which is now known as the Funk Lordz. Eight yrs later he has traveled, performed, battled and taught around the U.S. , the Funk Lordz represent for Quic’s vision now in seven cities across the globe. In 2006 he became a member of the Universal Zulu Nation by joining the MZK chapter (Mighty Zulu Kingz) who are the originators of B-boying (break dancing)dating back to the 70’s and are now the most influential dancers on the planet. It was then he Became Zulu Quic the highest ranked B-boy in Georgia. With all of this Quic was not satisfied and left Atlanta Ga & moved backed to NYC for a year to find the roots of his dances. Building with legends & originators helped him progress in his movements. Zulu Quic is now back in Atlanta Ga and runs his own Zulu chapter as well as the Funk Lordz. He continues to teach, battle & perform with organizations and Artist such KRS One, Talib Kweli, Mojo Swagger, Atlanta Hawks, National Black Arts Festival, Kenneth Cole, Macy’s, Kulturez, Y3, Scion, adidas and many more. It's not a hobby for me. This is my lifestyle. I love food,pitbulls,fashion & lowriders.
