B.B.Quartet è un progetto Live Blues con delle forti contaminazioni Jazz. "B.B." stà appunto per “Blues & Beyond”, oltre che per B.B.King, divinità imprescindibile. Alcuni spettatori hanno etichettato la nostra musica come "Blues raffinato". O, per contro, potremmo chiamarlo "Jazz blueseggiante". Comunque lo si voglia etichettare, lo scopo del progetto è quello di fondere l’eterno confine tra Blues e Jazz, proponendo brani propri e cover con delle sonorità elettriche basate su una piattaforma squisitamente Blues (Stratocaster, Telecaster e Gibson 335 su Fender Twin, organo Hammond B3 su Leslie, Rhodes, Fender Jazz Bass), ma con il largo utilizzo di armonie ricercate e solismo in pieno stile Jazz. Particolare e profonda la cura dedicata agli arrangiamenti. L'esperienza professionale dei membri del quartetto si articola, negli anni, fra Trasimeno Blues, Torrita Blues, Pistoia Blues, Umbria Jazz, Tiferno Blues, quasi tutti i club di Chicago, altri festival europei e qualche migliaio di date tra locali, feste, convention, ed ogni occasione dove ci fosse bisogno di musica suonata con le mani, i piedi ed il cuore. E anche un pò di testa. Ma appena quel tanto necessario a far sì che ogni concerto divenisse una celebrazione della Musica in onore del pubblico che la stà ascoltando, sempre ed immancabilmente coinvolto e divertito. Ma queste sono solo parole. Chiunque stia ascoltando i brani dal player, sappia che quasi tutto ciò che abbiamo da dire lo sentirà semplicemente ascoltando il nostro concerto.

B.B.Quartet is a Live Blues project with a strong Jazz contamination. "B.B." means precisely “Blues & Beyond”, as well as for B.B.King, essential divinity. Some viewers have labeled our music as "Blues refined." Or, on the other hand, we could call it "Bluesy Jazz." However you want to label it, the aim of the project is to get over the eternal border between Blues and Jazz, offering our songs and covers with an electric sound based on a solid Blues platform (Stratocaster, Telecaster and Gibson 335 on Fender Twin, Hammond B3 organ on Leslie, Rhodes, Fender Jazz Bass), but with the wide use of harmonies and solos in full Jazz style . Particular and profound is the care dedicated to the arrangements. The quartet members experience was builted through the years between Trasimeno Blues, Torrita Blues, Pistoia Blues, Umbria Jazz, Blues Tiferno, almost all live clubs in Chicago, other european festivals and a few thousand dates between locals, parties, conventions, and every situation where was needed our music, played with the hands, feets and heart. And even a little of head. But only enough to ensure to shift each concert in a Music celebration, in honor of the public that’s listening, who’s always and inevitably involved and amused. But these are only words. Anyone who's listening to this player must know that he can feel almost everything we have to say simply givin’ ear to our concert.
