BB grew up on the East Side of Detroit Mi., starting her music career at the age of 5, singing, dancing and playing her clarinet in juke joints and blind pigs with her younger sister and dad. Probably the same places John Lee Hooker frequented.
Inspired by watching BB King perform on a television show, BB picked up the guitar at age 13, (literally watching how he placed his fingers). The next week catching Jimi Hendrix, amazed at the stage presence and charisma of them both,Queen put together her own band with younger sister on drums and started playing local clubs, talent shows, wedding receptions, teen reporter gigs skating parties etc. All while attending high school. BB graduated at the age of 16. Her desire to perform and constant persistence, lead to meet and tour with the gospel group "Temptation Rise". Acting as band leader, and lead guitarist, BB was featured with the group on recording sessions as well as numerous television and radio broadcasts.
BB Queen tours extensively, nationally as well as internationally, performing on the same stages as some of " The Legends:

Performing as "Guest Artist" twice on the now syndicated "Jenny Jones Show" viewed by 4 million people, leading to a third visit for BB with 7 year old daughter Rasheedah nationally known as "Lil KoKo" guesting on the " Getting Jiggy with Jenny Episode" (Tearing the House Down!!!). Singing " You Ain't Nothing But a Hound Dog".. Recordings include CD entitled "Everybody's Favorite Qualified and Able" with special guest appearance by Grammy Award Winner and the "Queen of The Blues herself KoKo Taylor".
