I'm a 22 year old journalism student and all round sports nut, also love doing community based working talking about my disability to educate others. Loving my time at RMIT, I studied for my Professonial Writing and Editing Certificate there from 2004-6 and everyone says I am part of the furniture but by 2009 I'll hopefully have a job in the media as a sports journalist somewhere. Motivational speaking is something I love doing as well and I am available to speak at your next event. My presentations are directed mainly towards community groups, parents and schools with an emphasis on ensuring that everyone in the room leaves with some sort of an understanding of what it's like for a person to have Asperger Syndrome. I had a bit of a rough time when I was younger due to being bullied a lot and often kids just didn't understand why I behaved differently to them. Everything started to fall into place for towards year 10 and during my VCE years. Since finishing high school, my confidence levels and personality have improved greatly thanks mainly to being around people who are older than me who appreciate me for who I am as a person not by my actions.
