About Benedictine College Celtic Music Club

We are a group of Benedictine College students and Community members that get together to play and learn traditional Celtic music.

WED NIGHT SLOW SESSIONS:

We host a slow session every Wednesday Evening in the Haverty Center on the campus of Benedictine College. We start at 8:30 pm. and run until about 10:30 or 11:00 pm. The exception is when school is on holiday.

Directions to Benedictine College

FROM KANSAS CITY METRO/KCI AIRPORT Take I-29 North to Exit 20 (exit sign says Weston/Tracy). Take Hwy 273N to four-way stop intersection. Turn right to continue on 273N/45N. Drive 15 minutes past Weston. Turn left onto Hwy 59 to Atchison.

Once you cross the Missouri River into Atchison, turn right on either 4th street or 6th Street, proceed through town up to Division Street. Turn Right on Division Street and go back to 2nd Street. You will be at the edge of campus. Turn left onto 2nd and take the next right onto Campus Drive and into the BC Campus.

Directions to the Roost in the Haverty Center

After you turn off of 2nd Street and enter campus, proceed up campus drive past the Cafeteria and the Student Union which will be on your right. There is a circle drive around the campus flagpole right past the student union. This is in front of the Haverty Center. The Roost is on the first floor.

Parking can be found in the small lot just to the north of the Haverty Center or in the lower parking lot to the south of the Center. To access the north lot, turn right into the drive just past the flagpole drive. To access the lower lot, turn right into the FIRST drive once you enter campus. The lower lot is behind the cafeteria and the Haverty Center on the south side of these buildings.
