Some of the artists that have influenced BC over the years are: 311, Lenny Kravitz ,Zepplin, Hendrix, SRV, Paul Simon, Beatles, James Taylor, David Gilmore, DMB, G love,, Chili Peppers, Living color, Dylan, CSNY, Prince and Santana. MOST RECENTLY....JOSH KELLEY who has been a major influence on my songwriting ability... could go on forever.......
Sounds Like
BC's guitar riffs are hendrixy and simony with a funky folk twist. His solo guitar style is very much influenced by SRV and Santana. The lyrics are rap folky like g love yet tend to stay on the melodic side rather than straight up rap.
BC attributes his unique folk funk blend to a wide range of influences some of which include; Hendrix, SRV, Paul Simon, Lenny Kravitz, James Taylor, CSNY, Cash, Dylan, David Gilmore, 311, DMB, PRINCE and G love.
He has opened shows for the likes of Kenny Wayne Shepard, 311, Bush, Collective Soul, Cake, Scott Weiland, The Church, & Howard Jones just to name a few. Last year he toured with JOSH KELLEY and The Samples. The versatility of his music has allowed him the ability to play with such varied artists.
