My taste in television shows is awful. I am a closet reality show watcher and it seems like the dumber or cheesier the better. WHATS WRONG WITH ME!!I also like CSI Miami, The Sopranos, Dateline, 20/20 CNN, college football and basketball games
Books
I think that this is the part where everyone tries to impress others by listing a bunch of novels that they haven't really ever read. Ok, so here goes...War and Peace, The Bible and Quantum Physics for the New Millenium.. Impressed yet? Actually the last book I read was an auto biography about The lead singer of the Animals, Eric Burdon and a tennis magazine.
Heroes
I don't really have any heroes. I like people who have tact and know when to speak their mind and when to let it ride. People who pick their battles instead of making everything a personal issue. Those who serve others without a need to be praised or patted on the back constantly.
About me: I am a normal person who enjoys life and likes to be on the go. I am responsibly spontaneous LOL (meaning that I like spur of the moment road trips but I'm not gonna quit my job and move to Costa Rica for no apparent reason)I think that a good sense of humor is a must. Life's too short to be miserable, bitter or angry all the time. I enjoy racquet sports, old movies cheesy reality shows, and just getting in the car and going without any particular destination in mind. I do not have any children of my own but I do have a step grandchild from a previous marriage that I enjoy spending time with when I can, so I do like kids. I am the type of person who finds humor in almost any situation. I DO NOT spend my time playing video games, watching WWE Wrestling or playing Dungeons and Dragons. I like college and professional football but I am not the type to spend all weekend on the sofa watching it. I would rather go to the game in person (only if I have good seats) or get together with friends and make a party out of it. Honestly, I'd rather be out doing something fun. I am definitely not a couch potato. But every once in a while it's nice to stay and order take out on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I am a social drinker. I can take it or leave it. I don't have to have a drink every day after work. I may have a few drinks one evening then not drink anything for weeks. It just depends on where I am and who I am with. Who I'd like to meet: Someone who is able to laugh often and easily,is playful, isn't too cool to act silly every once in a while, smiles often and has a positive outlook on life.(Although sarcasm is a plus). I do not like pretentious people or people who are always negative. I'm looking for someone who understands that sometimes it's ok to agree to disagree and doesn't feel like they HAVE to always be right.
