When you go to college, you have two paths. stick to your wack ass major for the next 30 to 40 years into retirement....or follow the path that is in your blood. neither going left or right. failure or success. it's more like going towards success, becoming success while enjoying your passion, but failing to actually understand why the wacker shit gets played more. Hench personal success- failed society. With a degree of your average programming nerd, but the heart and spirit of a true producer and artist, 23 yr-old Brian Davis Jr. aka Inspirmentalist is what you call the creator of inspirmentals. always being around hip-hop since he was a kid, from listening to ice cube's today was a good day to Kris krosses jump jump. young b davis always was a fan of hip-hop. His father was once a DJ in high school and CEO of a former new jersey label chedda hill records. due to his dad supporting him and his younger siblings, his father quit the music biz to become a full time worker and a full time parent who has been also focusing on acting. At that point of his dad quitting, young b.davis figure since he doesn't have kids to support or take care of, music would later become his main focus, though he was majoring to be a programmer; he later decided it would be too stressful, tedious, boring and he can't imagine being a "robot in corporate America".That and he would write to release stress from his mind.With his childhood and earlier adolescence surrounded by great hip-hop, he started doing his own thing around his later teens starting off writing simple poetry about his life his freshmen year @ college, then flipping it into rapping, speaking more about his relationships, family, and the world. using his PC knowledge, he picked up the knack for using fl studio, taught by his fellow producers, gsounds, Trak, and Shadow Child aka zed.
Inspirmentalist is what you call a guy that does use samples but can cook up an original with ease.
Currently he is making beats for artists he would love to collab with and writing for his personal album.
