General
I love photography, history, tv, movies, books, music, pop culture, cooking, hiking, camping, driving back country roads, shopping, travel, going out to a nice club, but also quiet nights at home. I also am interested in about anything that you can think of. I am not really into sports, except I am into Kentucky basketball, U of TN football, and The NY Yankees. I do however love to watch Nomar Garciaparra. He is one of the greats in baseball. I have collected baseball shit since I was, let's just say young. I love to travel to different places, and to collect pieces of art from all over the world. Art doesn't have to be expensive, just meaningful to the person who makes it, and the person that finds a connection to the piece. My historic interests are in Appalachian studies and the history of Kentucky. I am also interested in early music and poetry of Appalachia. I also research my ancestory, so far back to 1520 Scotland, on one side of the family. ..
Music
My life has been influenced by so many types of music. I love all music, and appreciate the feelings and emotions that music has given to me. My collection of music is a wide range from classical to heavy metal. Every song, every note has its own story. Right now I can say that the following musicians have influenced my life: Robbie Williams, Linkin Park, Staind, 30 Seconds to Mars, Metallica, George Michael, Scissor Sisters, Madonna, Amy Winehouse, Fleetwood Mac, Nickleback, NIN, Abba, Queen, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Peter Frampton, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Clint Black, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Johnny Cash, Carly Simon, Enya, Jim Brickman, Vivaldi, and many many more. I also love '80s new wave and dance music. To Compose a list of my favorites is impossible. I love music and love how it makes me feel. I relate music to the whatever is going on in my life.
Movies
I really do not go to the theatre that often. I buy a lot of dvds and usually just stay in. My favorite movies are FROM HERE TO ETERNITY, EAST OF EDEN, THE COLOR PURPLE, EXIT TO EDEN (the guy has a great ass), ALFIE (the Jude Law remake), PLATOON, THE LEGENDS OF THE FALL, LOVE!VALOUR!COMPASSION!, A HOME AT THE END OF THE WORLD, GONE WITH THE WIND, GIANT, JEFFREY, THREESOME, POLYESTER (anything by John Waters), EASY RIDER, MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, and really just too many to list. My favorite actors are Jude Law, Montgomery Clift, James Dean, Michael Lucas and Mark Dalton. Yes, I love porn.
Television
I love all genres of television. I have seen every epidsode of THE GOLDEN GIRLS, DESIGNING WOMEN, MAMA'S FAMILY, ROSEANNE, WILL AND GRACE, and other shows that are now in syndication. I love QUEER AS FOLK and SEX IN THE CITY, but I hate watching the edited version of "SEX" on now. My favorite shows on television now are THE UNITED STATES OF TARA, SONS OF ANARCHY, ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW, THE CATHERINE TATE SHOW, PROJECT RUNWAY, TOP CHEF, MY NAME IS EARL, AND AMERICAN IDOL. I love the cartoons THE SIMPSONS, FAMILY GUY, KING OF THE HILL, ROBOT CHICKEN, THE LIFE AND TIMES OF TIM and SOUTH PARK. Those are my favorite. I also like to watch documentaries and history and science programs. The more I compile this list the gayer I realize that I am. I hate commercials and change the channel to another show when they come on, or fast forward through them on the dvr.
Books
I read and collect all types of books. I like to have first editions. I read a lot of hisorical pens. Also I love to read biographies of movie stars. I love to see how the others' live.

I have also finished THE CITY OF FALLING ANGLELS by John Berendt. I do however love other types of books. I read a lot of books of Kentucky, and Appalachian history. I also love the book MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL also by John Berendt. It was so much better than the movie, although I do love the movie; Jude Law is in it! I also love to collect "coffee table books" that show pictures of what I am interested in learning more about. ..
