Making his home in Philadelphia, Brian is a rising star in the local singer-songwriter scene. In an age of advertisers-conscious music, Brian’s music is a breath of fresh air. A self-made artist, Brian has always been independent, and this informs his original songwriting. With years of training and experience as a classical pianist, he incorporates these skills to create intricate and sparkling music. Making music for the sake of music, he does so with breathtaking skill and imagination. Brian is a proud member of ASCAP and Philadelphia Songwriters Project, among others. His music has been compared with the likes of Ben Folds, Coldplay, and R.E.M., but Brian Dilts has a sound and vision all his own.

Hello Brian, congratulations to you too! Your music is just beautiful! Thanks for the friendship, and looking forward to meeting and hearing you on the 7th! Andrea

Thanks for the b-day wishes. I have been down with a bug all week too so I haven't been able to do much celebrating. I'd love to catch up with you and Allison. Maybe we can grab coffee at Green Line or dinner at Vientiene Cafe. I love those places but haven't been in a while.

this is the RAW, unmixed version of the first song from the NEW ALBUM 'best excuses'. some of you heard it performed LIVE this past summer, but for the rest, this is the first time hearing it!
so enjoy it! LISTEN often, and give me your OPINION... anything you might think might improve the song.
and STAY TUNED for more NEW MUSIC from yearlongday!!!
Thanks Brian! We always seemed to have similiar music tastes. How are things with you? Let me know when you are playing in Jersey again. Or Philly..LOL
Hello Brian! Hope that you've been well. I'm really looking forward to making your acquaintance soon. If you are free the 18th, it would be lovely to meet you, otherwise I am very interested in coming to the Burlap show. I love that place! It is on my friend Carol's birthday, though, but we aren't taking her out to the next day, so things should work out. Speak soon! -Kristen
Happy New Year! I just wanted to say that your music is my favorite. If you're ever in the South Jersey area, we have many new coffee shops and venues opening up and you should come and play! I would love a CD! Amazing music. =) Elena
