About me: Hi and thanks for taking time to look at our site. Please add us as your friend and we can keep you updated about our Exhibition and activities in the club.
Blyth & District Model Railway Society is the oldest and largest established model railway club in the North East. The club have some 40 members ranging in ages from the youngest aged 16 and the oldest aged 80. The club caters for all model railway enthusiasts in all gauges.
We currently have layouts in N, HO, OO and O gauges and would welcome any new member who models in these gauges or any other gauge and who wishes to improve their modelling skills or have any skills they could pass on. We currently meet every Wednesday morning from 10:00am until 12:00pm and every Thursday evening from 7:00pm until 9:30pm in the club house at Dukes Walk, Whitley Bay (Next to the Rendezvous Cafe).
For further information please contact any member who is operating layout or contact Hon. Secretary Gordon Redpath on 0191/2583628 between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm, or e-mail Chris on bdmrs@sky.com
To accommodate our increasing membership we are looking for new premises from 5,000sq ft in SE Northumberland, North Tyneside or the Newcastle Area. If you know of any suitable buildings please contact our Secretary Gordon Redpath.

This 1930 Model A was my very 1st car. My Grandpa, Mom & Dad scraped together $75.00 to buy it for me on my Sweet 16 Birthday in 1950. Oh boy, do I wish I still had “her” today.
Perhaps one day, I can make your 1st car or dream car “move in wood.” Please don’t hesitate to inquire and send me photos of “your baby.”
Thank you again for your friendship and supporting my ART.
God Bless.
