In 2006 Matthew Summerlon, a.k.a. ‘Uncle’, was arrested in Georgia. Following Summerlon’s arrest, a search of his property and personal effects was undertaken. During their search, police found incriminating journals, and photographs of dozens of victims, whose remains had been discovered scattered throughout NC and its surrounds over a twenty five year period. While awaiting trial, Matthew Summerlon confessed, and finally gave his account of what is, without doubt, one of the most grotesque and obscene crime sprees ever recorded…
Just two days after his conviction for murder, Matthew was found beaten to death in prison. During talks before he died, Matthew claimed that other members of his family were involved in the 1982 killings, and countless other homicides over the years. Summerlon’s death stopped any preliminary investigation into substantiating his wild claims, and wiped away any chance of catching these alleged perpetrators…
Today, wrapped in silence, the street where the 1982 murders occurred emanates a palpable, ominous sense of dread: The street has become a decayed reminder, and a resting spot, for many of those who passed in that fateful night. The businesses there have been abandoned, and all the power lines are down. Rows of empty houses have every single window shattered. If a curious visitor were to make the effort to look around and check inside some of these houses, they would see dried blood everywhere, and crude Satanic symbols painted all over the walls. Many of the houses share the same street address: the number 666. Several of the houses have inverted crosses suspended from upper floor windows, visible from the street below. Fragments of large bones litter the ground, strewn through the long, dead grass. Gunshots echo in the distance. This street is full of secrets, but sometimes secrets should not be disturbed…
Evil can take many forms; a man, a house or even an entire street. This is a street that God turned away from and allowed to become a Sanction of Pure Evil. This is a street that if any one enters it, or stays there, or even thinks about the place, they are never the same again…This street is the dwelling place of the Fallen Ones...Soon the blood will flow...
