Music
I will listen to just about anything and will give it a try once or twice before deciding to keep in rotation or not. Things I don't listen to at all:
New Country, Hard Core Rap, Doom and Gloom Goth whatever. Things I listen to sometimes: Speed Metal, Techno Drum and Bass tracks. Things I listen to a lot: Classic 70's-80's Rawk, Fusion Jazz, Dance styles. Whatever.
Movies
People who know me - REALLY know me, know I'm a Romantic at Heart and can cry at Movies when it is least expected (but it is expected after all and thats why it's so stupid to admit it) - stupid emotional generated/driven scenes coldly calculated by writers etc to cause tears. Over and above that, Action/Adventure, Slapstick Comedy (old school style), Spy/Thriller/Mystery scenery, and Pyschologically Damaging Scare stuff works best - I had roomates who did FX work so I know where blood and body parts come from and it kinda lost it's 'Shock/Gore' effect on me when the garage is always full of body parts and buckets of red liquids....
Television
HGTV (Hey - they GIVE away Houses there!), FoodTV, FOX Broadcasting early morns (news) and Prime Time Programming (HOUSE), CNN/Headline News etc etc, PBS, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central on occasion... not as much as I used to watch - mostly always on in the background...

Hiya, like it says - I'm 50 - I live in beautiful San Pedro, CA with my WIFE/Lover/Partner/Best Friend... My Rina, Mother of the Asher and Jessica Riley!!.. those who know me - know her! Stunningly beautiful, statuesque and giving. I am truly happy to have met Her, spent the time we did together and apart, and now more than happy to have her as my Wife since we got married on Saturday - April 22, 2006 right here in the back yard of our home!

I am free verse, and know the rules, and use them - when they suit me, which admittedly tends not to be the case. Authority, tradition, laws; very much not my sort of thing, I fear.
Perhaps, on occasion, I go too far in the opposite direction, and shun the accepted merely because it's accepted, accepting its opposite merely because it isn't; but since it's clearly better that than being normal; well, why not?
Who I'd like to meet: DEAD: Josef Hoffman, Hector Giumard and Frank Lloyd Wright - people I admired for thier contributions to World Architecture. Probably others but it's not like it's gonna happen...
