My name is Maggie and I am a 10 year old Border Collie mix who was rescued from a kill shelter just outside Charlotte in Union County, North Carolina. I understand my birth mom was a Border Collie and my dad was a travelin' man. Lucky for me, my real mom adopted me on day 5 because I wouldn't have made it past day 6. THAT was 9 years ago, since then I have been living the good life for SURE!!! I love the beach, just everything about it...sand and all. Running chasing birds is tons of fun for me. Sniffing out the random things we come across during our walks is pretty fun too. A regular day for me consists of sleeping a fair amount, eating, going for walks, looking for cats or squirrels, wondering when my next treat is coming, and waiting by the front door for my mom to come home from work. My cousins live at the Outer Banks, we go up there as much as we can(VISIT MY FRIEND MANTEO). Thank goodness for the kindness of humans (like my real mom) who adopt dogs from shelters. I am one truely blessed dog living a very good life. Thank you for visiting myspace here. Come back & see me again, I love to see my friends and welcome new visitors. xoxo maggie

Hi Maggie, Well,My Dad is still doing better then the doctors thought,Mom has the garden and all of the flowers planted,she mowed the back forty,helped build a swing set for grand baby Riley and NOW maybe she will let me finally talk to you.
Since I was being kinda ignored..I decided to dye my butt green and I really kept them guessing on how I did it too.Darn it Mom figured it out..I got a bottle of food coloring and placed it in my favorite sleeping spot in the kitchen. I guess I will have to be sneakier next time..BOL!
