Right some info about me - I'm a UK based Solo artist and DJ (and yes Beach is my real first name...don't ask) and I'm from Manchester but now living in the southern part of London town.
I've been working away on the music for about 10 years now, and am naturally pretty passionate about it all. I've just finished recording my second album "GLOW" - a whole lot of love has gone into it so I hope it says something to you.

In terms of what I'm up to when I'm DJing, I'm into a bit of electro house and progressive house and been lucky enough to play at the Ministry of Sound and Pacha and also alongside Bryan Adams, Bryan Ferry and Jools Holland over the years....

Here's the official info on me and my music from the label:
UK solo artist BEACH MERCER had a very successful 2005 with debut demo single "BURNING UP" featured as single of the week on GMTV ENTERTAINMENT TODAY (ITV1) in June. It reached number 1 on the WANADOO DOWNLOAD CHART upon its release in July and the video was given 4 out of 5 stars on the TOP OF THE POPS online website.
Second demo single "CHANGE" (September 05) received strong support on UK regional radio and in the UK National Press with featured articles in THE SATURDAY TIMES, MUSIC WEEK, IRISH WORLD, BOYZ and THE SUN.
This resulted in BEACH receiving funding to re-record his highly acclaimed debut album "MISSING THE ACTION" in late 2005 which produced the stunning new album that is "BACK + FORTH", finished in January 2006.
In 2006 the song "Change", from the debut album "Back + Forth" was featured on the WINTER OLYMPICS by the BBC and "Missing" was chosen as the official single of the NATIONAL MISSING PERSONS HELPLINE's SUMMER SEARCH campaign.

Hey! Hope you are doing good. I wanted to let you know about a show i'm doing in London on Sunday, June 1st.
I'm touring with Tommy Allsup. He played guitar with Buddy Holly, and is the guy playing on songs like "Heartbeat", "It's So Easy", etc, etc.....he is 76 and still going strong.
He is a character.
Anyway, i would love to see you at the show. I think as a fellow musician that you will really appreciate seeing Tommy play, and listening to his stories! He is THE guy that flipped the coin with Ritchie Valens.
