...... ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .... ..New album 'Nutjob' available on request from beachyheadmusicclub@googlemail.com . Only £5!.. .... As English as Faggots and gravy. This original Brighton septet offer sumptuous melody, easily understood lyrics on a variety of subjects, excellent musicianship loosley arranged and frequent outbursts of funkiness. Just recently Beachy Head Music Club have released their third album "Nutjob" which has been recieved with great acclaim by BBC Radio 6, Scrub Radio (where Nutjob won album of the year award along with best UK band), 97.3 WRIR Richmond Independant Radio and AiirRadio.net They were signed 22nd July 2010 to a new Label "Sleepy Records" Based in Glastonbury UK. All three albums will be available soon on itunes and Festivals are being arranged for 2011. Presently Beachy Head Music Club are working on their fourth album and will be making live appearences between now and 2011. Damon Albarn - More please! Steve Hillage - Nice Tunage Charles Plymell - If you missed the cool sounds of Stan Getz or Chet Baker in real time, don't blame ot on the Bossa Nova! You can still chill under the same sun sounds from Beachy Head Music Club As Cam Chiappe of Three Weeks Magazine stated : There is something rather unique in their balance of succinct pop tunes and jazz dexterity. One thing is for certain, music emanating from around a prominent suicide spot shouldn’t be this easily enjoyable. .... If you can imagine all of the above as ingredients for a rich stew, new recipe, taste, then your getting somewhere near to the music of Beachy Head Music Club. ...... ...... .. .. go here for more information: .. ..designed by em at: ..www.myspace.com/insanelyrics .... .. .. this page was designed by ..em.. .............. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. Sounds Like
We can't seem to find anyone who can quite put their finger on it as yet and don't ask us we only write the stuff. Anyway from comments, so far our UK fans have described us like a thick meaty musical stew with somehow light subtle flavours of The Small Faces, Stan Getz, The Bonzo's the Beta's The Beatles, Kinks, Robert Wyatt, Ian Dury our New York fans hear Chet Baker and that Greenwich Village feel. All of the comments are recieved with reverence to all of the above who have influenced us all throughout the years, not forgetting the late Ron Aspery and early input and from Nick and Herbie Flowers who play and helped influence first album 'Nice Feel'. Many many thanks to : Nick Flowers, Herbie Flowers, Big Vern, Vicci Stratton, Percussion Ben, Gravesend Russ, Nick Cooper and Phil the 'arp' not forgetting the current line up of Keith Markwick,Tom Arnold, Charlotte Glasson and Glen Richardson for their musicianship and shaping throughout the years.

Hey! If you hate what the likes of Simon Cowell have done to mainstream music in this country - for a great laugh, check out this hilarious bastardised Cliff-Richard free track 'Mistletoe & Whine': www.myspace.com/saynotocowell It's spot on! {Another project by BN4}

Surface Festival in London Hi Guys, I'm messaging you regarding next year’s Surface Festival. I will be holding events this year in London, which I am really looking forward to as the bands I have had from previous years have been great. For more info and to apply online (if you haven't already done so) please visit www.surfacefestival.com I will then be holding meetings to book the bands on in the next coming months, where you can ask all sorts of questions, learn more about the Festival and to get you onto your first gig. If you have any questions please email me at london@surfacefestival.com Regards, Rob Faull London Area Manager
