    Beady was formed in 2009 by chance. Both Jordan Trabue and Dylan Weber-Owens, whom before this had never known each other, went for a ride in "Mr. Robertson's Fantastic Dirigible Ride" (Trademark 1974) in Bloomington, Indianna. It was a fine dirigible ride, as far as dirigible rides go, on a fine day. That is, up until halfway through the ride, the dirigible burst into flames (true fact: dirigibles are known to spontaneously burst into flames, which is why they are no longer the number 1 mode of transport in America). as the flames ate away at the tarp holding the contraption in the air, the dirigible began to slowly crash. Realizing what must be done, Jordan and Dylan grabbed the on-board guitar and banjo (respectively) and went to the lowest point on the structure. They then began to start a'pickin' and a'strummin at their instruments with such ferocity and energy that the pure force of their playing generated heat, enough heat to keep the dirigible afloat until help arrived. Not only did they save the life of everyone on the ride, but they also gave the passengers the finest playing that anyone on the dirigible had heard in years. And so, Beady was born

    Dylan- Dylan was born into the world in 1991. The illegitimate son of a traveling tunesmith and German concubine, legends say that Dylan learned how to play a guitar before he learned how to walk. He never learned how to play banjo, just instinctively knowing how to play from the moment he picked one up. By the time he was ten, he could play banjo and guitar, at the same time, better than most people could play one at a time. Before joining Beady, Dylan made his way from town to town, making his living by playing on the street and shootin' dice. He once saved Christmas... but that's a different story. Nowadays he has settled down, owning a nice little barn on Oak St., Louisville, Kentucky. In his free time, he can be seen tending to barn animals, singin' and strummin', and eating cereal profusely. (Editors note: Sadly, Dylan passed away 19 years ago, when a jealous lover took his life) ........................................................................................................................................................................... Jordan- Jordan was born into the world in 1991. He was born into a world of wealth and privilege by strict, religious parents who thought folk was the devils music. One day, on his 13th birthday, he was running into town to buy groceries and bring them back to the estate when he heard a blind man on the corner singing "Wagon Wheel." He immediately ran away, deciding to live life as a drifter guitarist who sang to the sunset. Before Beady, Jordan was an alcoholic wreck, having lost sight of why he became a musician. Nowadays he bounces back and forth between his house in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky. Jordan enjoys Cormac McCarthy books, wearing tuxedos, and complaining about things as often as possible. (Editors note: Tragically, Jordan was taken from us 19 years ago as of last May, for reasons involving his involvement in shady dealings of blackmarket generic cereal brands) ............................................................................................................................................................................... Jesse Cooler- The long lost half-brother of Dylan, Jesse was shipped off to the banana plantations of Panama at a young age by a mother who couldn't afford to raise him. At the plantations, Jesse became renowned for his musical prowess, mastering every instrument within reach. The cruel, corrupt plantation owner mercilessly made Jesse play at his ballroom parties every evening until Jesse stowed away one stormy night among the banana crates to the land of opportunities, the United States. Upon arrival he immediately set out upon finding his half-brother, whom he knew only from an old tattered photograph. He eventual ran into Dylan by chance in a Taco Bell, leading to a tearful reunion. Jesse is also noted in some academic circles for his unique ability to mimic the guttural roar of a hippopotamus. .......................................................................................................................................................................... Small Chucks- Born under the name "Sarah Doppingham," Small Chucks was the heir to the Doppingham Spice Trade empire, the most influential and powerful family in all of Turkey. She was raised with an education in classical composition, and had a flair and passion for music. As a teenager, she became frustrated when the only musical profession she could obtain was writing the opening themes to terrible ABC sitcoms, eventually driving her to the brink of insanity before she ran away from the life of affluence, leaving her christian name behind and adopting the new moniker "Small Chucks." Small Chucks joined Beady when they stumbled upon each other on highway 61, both being pursued by a band of disgruntled bikers. After introductions, they worked together to narrowly escape the dastardly biker gang. ............................................................................................................................ Cliff Shwickshwak- A man shrouded in mystery, more stories and fables surround the enigmatic Cliff Shwickshwak than facts. Some say he is a wizard who can bend sound itself to his will, others say he is a savior who will one day free all who are oppressed, while others deny that he even exists. However, one thing is for certain, Cliff is the stuff legends is made of. ............................................................................................................................................ Tristan the Con Man- Not much is known about Tristan before he showed up in the studio with a mind to make some music and woo women, but given his drinking nature and the look in his eyes whenever johnny law is around, it's probably a safe bet that there's a pretty penny on his head. Tristan in the known originator of the popular phrase "A penny in your pocket and a hatchet in your hand means a good forty acres for every woman and man." .............................................................................................................................. Conner Hornigold- a young buccaneer whose youth was was spent on the high seas aboard the "Bloody Mary's Revenge," Conner spent his days drinking and playing, and his nights drinking and playing. His ship was sunk by Admiral Flopdawner of Her Majesties Navy, so he's trying out his land legs for a bit.
