 | | Music | I like some Classic Rock, Light Classical, Jazz, Some Pop and the 40's oldies. My favorite artist is MICHAEL BUBLE from Canada! He is such a dreamy hottie! 
I can't handle Country Western or RAP. Some of the new songs that are Rap style are just too much for me to handle too!! | | Movies | My all time favorite is "Dirty Dancing" Love Patrick Swayze and the dancing and music in that movie.
I also love "Bridges of Madison County" the content held some significance to me the first time I watched it.
Mainly I love the Romantic Comedy. Anything that is funny and happy is good. Just recently saw "Wedding Crashers" and I was laughing so much. Funny, funny movie. I am a new fan of Vince Vaughn.

| | Television | Ok so there isn't much to choose from these days on TV. I like to watch "Vegas" Yummy Josh Duhamel!!!
I like to watch "Medium", "CSI", "Grey's Anatomy", "Desparate Housewives", and some of the reality shows until they get too way out of hand. Can't do the "American Idol" just too much drama. I love old re-runs of "I Love Lucy"  just some good old fashioned FUNNY STUFF.
Love some of the old movies that you can catch on the hundreds of channels available on Direct TV. | | Books | Hmmm books, well I am not into books. I prefer the articles in newspapers, magazines and online sites. I guess I have never liked reading "a book". I think it is too ADD for me to sit and get into a book. My mind can't stick with it or I just fall asleep. I have picked up a few books in my life but never really got EVERY SINGLE LAST WORD read. I wish I had the staying power to read a novel, I see people totally engrossed in big thick books and envy them sometimes!

Just a regular lady that has a fondness for those Merry Little Hounds, Beagles. 
I am a Mom, Wife, BEAGLE RESCUER and worker for a school district. Nothing really exciting. Pretty much regular person. Like to travel and cook and of course play with my beagles. My husband and I have saved over 80 Beagles in the past 3 years or so by Rescuing and fostering the little furkids! We love them and socialize them so they have a second chance at finding a new forever family. Beagles can be a challenging breed if you aren't savvy to their tricks! They are little clowns in fur suits. A forever puppy. Sweet and stubborn. Driven by their nose first and stomach second. I love them anyway they come! I truly am the BEAGLE CRAZY LADY! We had one cat too, but he used to think he was a dog! Blue eyed baby boy, Indiana, AKA Mr. Fitzbar.....He went to the "Rainbow Bridge" the day after Mother's Day (2006) while under anesthesia having his teeth cleaned. It was a very sad day for the whole family. Rest in Peace Mr. Indiana...... 
I support all kinds of pet rescue groups. People that can give their own time and love to a dog or cat for a second chance at happiness are certainly great people. It just takes a little extra time and commitment to give back to a rescue animal. Some people ask me how I can give up the foster dogs, since they know I would want to keep each one. I know I have my own four little lady beagles that I love so much. Each beagle pup that comes into my home is one more that I have been able to save. If I kept any of them, then I wouldn't be able to help as many as I have these past 3 years. You get that thought in your head, that they are just visiting, and you remember there is a forever home out there for each of them. Some of the beagles take a bit more of my heart with them when they leave, as there have been a few that I would have loved to keep for myself. What I need is a huge ranch where I can build a true beagle sanctuary. Someday, I will have the means and ability to do just that. Or maybe one of my kids will make it big in the "Business" and set me up for life in my rescue efforts!!! (Stephen - Megan are you paying attention??)
In the meantime, I keep supporting rescue groups, they do such a service for the world of animals. Most people have no idea what rescue groups do to help the unfortuante dogs and cats that are left by unworthy owners, surrendered because of new household situations, or stray finds that no one claims. Our Northern California Beagle Rescue group is fortunate to be allowed to rescue beagles from several Bay Area research laboratories. I wish there would be no animal testing but as long as there is research on animals and we are able to take in the tens of hundreds of research beagles we will be there with our arms open wide to love and care for these prescious little babies.

I am offically surviving the "empty nest". My son moved out now lives in Southern California. He just graduated from Cal State University at Fullerton. We moved my daughter away to her second year in college (also in Southern California). This will be difficult as I am very, very close to my kids. I know they are both on their pathways of life and I am extremely happy for them. It is just so hard to think of not having them with me day in and day out. It will just be the four beagles left and my hubby to contend with...... I forsee many more trips south to make visits to the kids. **********************************************************

 Actually I have met him when Megan and I saw him at the Fillmore in San Francisco, March 2004. Megan got to sit on his lap inside his tour bus and we have a picture of it!! He is such a cutie!!
