About The BEARatones

The BEARatones were originally formed in 1996 in Salt Lake City by Tony Gilkinson. Tony put together a new group of singers in Seattle in 1998 where the group performed at a few events for the Northwest Bears. After a 5 year hiatus, Tony reformed the group in August 2004 and this incarnation has been performing around Seattle ever since. The BEARatones are a group of guys who love to sing about the BEAR community and the beautiful men in it. Their songs range from the silly to the sublime and all have their own BEAR twist to them. The BEARatones made their feature film debut in 2005 when they recorded "Exit 5 Rest Stop" for the movie "Creatures from the Pink Lagoon".
