Beard Seeking Missile formed in July 2006 after a conversation had after a few drinks one night in a bar in Cork City.
A couple of years down the line and the beard boys are still rockin’ as hard as ever, albeit with a more refined sound combining stoner rock, grunge and something else they can't remember.
They began recording an E.P. in early 2008 with Ross O' Donnovan(Data Recording Studios) with more recording planned this year. It is due to be released mid 2009.
One of the songs recorded last year 'Dreamermode' appears on ‘Riot On Sunset Vol. 15’ (272 Records CA. USA) Released on the 3rd of February 2009.
To celebrate this they decided to release 'Dreamermode' as a single in The Quad on Friday 6th of February.The very next week 'Dreamermode' went to no.1 in the irish download charts.
