Singer/songwriter originally from County Down Northern Ireland, but now based in South East London. His work has been described as Jack Johnson meets Nirvana, but Bear maintains a diverse songwriting style often incorporating elements of Rock, Dance, Pop, Blues and R'n'B.

Bear cites his main influences as Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Johnny Cash and The Rolling Stones.

Bear is currently working on new material showcased during 2007-8 in venues such as 'Sound Cafe','The Purple Turtle' and 'Monkey Chews'. Bear's track 'Sharks' is currently featured on 'The White' the UK's top unsigned standard industry format compilation.
Bear’s song ‘Insomniac’ has been included on 2 international unsigned artists compilations 'Unsung Heroes'(Chromium Records) and 'Close Encounters of the Indie Kind'(Matchbox Recordings) as featured in NME.
'Insomniac' also received 'Honourable Mentions' from all judges in the finals of VH1's 'Song of the Year' competition, whilst the track 'Change Your Mind' was a runner-up in the 'Adult Contemporary Music' section. Both tracks have also reached the Top 20 in the American Idol Underground listener charts.(www.idolunderground.com)
The track 'My Libertine' is featured on the www.outrageradio.com New Music Podcast vol.18.
Bear's music has also been played on various Internet radio stations such as 'Incognito', 'Streaming Radio', 'RedStarUk' and BBC Radio Ulster as well as regional commercial radio in Northern Ireland.
