About me:
I'm a Native American stand-up comedian. My Lakota name is Wakinyan Mato. My father's people are Rosebud & Standing Rock Lakota and my mother's people are Choctaws from lower Oklahoma. Also I'm singer/songwriter in a band called GhostDance [we're considering changing the name again...so far no good names come to mind except Crap Band 505--we think there may be copyright issues], formerly from L.A. now living in London, UK where we record and perform live music. These days, I do mostly stand-up comedy in the Greater London area and Amsterdam, the Netherlands; also Impro shows and the occasional acting for the stage and tv, where I usually play an ndn... I love all music besdides just Powwow Northern Drum. There is also Southern Drum. I like wasichu music from Alboni's Adaggio to Pink Floyd to the Monkees to Count Basie to 80s pop to very hard rock. Lately I been listening to a lot of ambient electronica...i listened to Ozric Tenticles, but now I regret it. I'll tolerate country + western and opera but only if it involves being nekkid in a trailer with the Dixie Chicks or Lesley Garrett dressed as a Valkyrie. ahh romance! **** Now here's some good ambient music from my Radio Station called Bearthunder's Global Chillage. It features mostly listener content but there's a lot of talented people out there making music; and so to calm your nerves and drift away to another space, sit back and let it play for awhile....
