Blogs eh!

Hmmm, I'm not sure I want the whole world to know the kind of twisted up madness I carry out. Well ok, to start let me explain my current situation.

The slovacian that lives in the house is a total bastard, he is very bad at paying bills, which normally arrive months after you first asked him to pay his share if at all. Today he is leaving, this should be a cause for celibration but he hasn't paid his share of the electricty, gas or rent. The only one I'm very worried about is the rent.

His reasoning is that he does'nt have to pay till the end of june as it says in the contract because he's not going to be living here that long. I very much doupt this will wash with the landlord, who will undouptably charge the rest of us for his rent.

I had an angry word with him about it this morning. I told him that if he does not phone the landlord and sort this out and pay his share then I'll have no option but to sue. This might be quite hard if he goes back to europe but what the hell, it's a good threat.

I think thats it's worth pointing out at this stage that he's not very good with money. When he owed me £135 in telephone, gas and water bills he spent several hunderd pounds on a new phone, and then went back to slovicia for a week then spain. I this this sort of behavior is a bit much. He never paid me in cash for the money he owed me, instead I took his amp hostage till he paid me back. A week or so ago he came to the conclusion that he would need to sell the amp to pay for his bills, so he lugged the thing round town to try to sell it. They offered rather low sums for the amp (aparently cost £450 8 months ago, new. We had offers of £100. New for 300 quid on e-bay). So I offered to forget the dept in exchange for his amp and one of his guitars. It was the less good one, but I got the marks off with meths and applied some furnature polish. It had a broken string, but I decided tha old ones were looking a bit tired so I changed them all. This prooved to be rather difficult as unlike normal electric guitar strings, which have a ball at the end of the string to stop it from passing though the hole in the bridge, these just had a hand-tied knot. I have now idea where they could have come from as they don't make electric guitar strings like that (to my knowlage). The only other possible is that they are the strings for an accustic guitar. Raven (on my friends list) and I had to half take the thing to pieces to get all the strings out. Thanks to raven for assisting me with that, as I know nothing about electric guitars. It looks quite cool now. Its a deep green colour with burnt black edges. It looks a bit like this one with chrome, rather than gold metal.

Hmm. The amp is this one (I think) and in mint condition

I'm dreading what'll haven if he does not come to a good arrangement with the landlord.

I'm learning how to play the guitar now I have one. Never saw that coming! I've always avoided playing music since I was forced to attend recorder lessons at primary school. Meh, bout time I did something new. I played till the tips of my left hand hurt a couple of days ago. Tonight, I'm going to play till they bleed.

I have sofar learnt to play the e-blues scale, the beginning of "enter the sandman" by metallica and some simple a chords, which means I can nearly play Kumbayah. I know everybody learns to play a load of chords before they do anything but I had got the wrong books out from the library.

Hmm, thats all for now.
