About me:

Beatdown Records began its existance on 1st July 2006, when Paul and Nick bought out the Steel Wheels shop in Vine Lane, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, which closed in September 2008.

Our new downtown store opened on 15th July 2008 at Clarendon House at the corner of BEWICK ST and CLAYTON ST WEST, NE1 5EE. This is our flagship store concentrating on ROCK, METAL, PUNK / HARDCORE, INDIE, REGGAE, BLUES, SOUL, ROCK 'N' ROLL. The phone number for this shop is 0191 2618894.

We recently opened a second store at 19A RIDLEY PLACE (above Frankie and Tony's Sandwich shop), which is just one street away from the old Vine Lane store.
