Four "motley bandits" raised by weird wolves and home schooled by trees. We are socially challenged fakers - in every way sincere. And, "The time" has come and gone and is here again. In this, I reference the band in the fantastic film "Purple Rain," which did NOT influence anything except our manner of dress. We are old friends who met in a clearing called the Zephyr "stage". It was an accident really. We were drunk and desperate and bored. Time flies and we always notice far too late.
Hey guys. The new songs sound great. Can't wait to hear the the whole album.
We've got a new book out Monday, though it's on pre-sale now.
It's called "Screaming Freedom," and it's by Allen Michael Hines, a Kent resident. Allen lives with cerebral palsy, and he's active on the poetry scene there. His situation gives him unique insight to explore the sadness, heartache, and hope inherent in the world. Hope you'll check it out and spread the word: www.jbsolomoneditions.blogspot.com and www.lulu.com/screamingfreedom.
Allen reads a lot at Kent haunts. Say hi if you run into him.
