I am a DJ residing in London and have been playing since 1992. I started off listening to Hip Hop in the late 80's then slowly saw this sound called House / Techno emerging. In the late 80's to early 90's I used to scan the FM Dial to uncover a vast amount of pirate radio stations and this is where I got my fix of dance music from the likes of Green Apple, Energy, Face, Pulse, Don and many more.
Sometime around late 1991 I decided I wanted to try out DJ'ing and bought myself some decks and records at every opportunity. In the Mid 90's I started to discover free parties I was living out in Oxford and although not as big as the parties Ive read about from 88-92 still happening. I got involved with a few soundsystems and up until present day still get involved where I can.
I moved to London in 2002 as ive always liked the buzz of London record shops everywhere and a good party scene. It didnt take long to start meeting like minded people. I am a resident DJ at Subliminal Discharge which is a night put on with some very good friends which caters for the harder side of dance (Speedcore/Gabber/Breakcore/Hard DnB) Ive also just started to get my teeth into production and have a few tracks knocking around. Also am trying my hand at doing live sets,
I have been involved with Interface radio (www.pirate-radio.org) since some time in 2000. At the moment I havent been able to do my show due to location but am looking into a suitable broadcast place so i can continue so hoefully soon...Its a great station and has a nice community of people involved so check it out ya might like it!
