Beat It Live is a charity event set up to raise money and awareness for various cancer charities.
This years charities are: BCRAG (Breast Cancer Research Action Group); and the Yorkshire Cancer Centre, St James' Hospital, Leeds.

Beat It Live was created in 2007. The first one being held on Friday 9th November 2007 at the Manor, Stoney Royd, Farsley. We raised with the help of all our supporters, a rather respectable £2610.
The chosen charities for 2007 were: Yorkshire Cancer Research; Yorkshire Cancer Centre and Macmillan Cancer Support, who all received £870 each. Please check out the photos from some of the bands. Our full line up was: Desilva; Motus; Contraband; Optic Nerve and Us4//U2.
The event is being held again this year on saturday the 23rd of August. This years event will be held outside and will have a massive response, so as soon as you see tickets available - get them bought!!
