I was born and raised in Germany and whitnessed electronic music becoming of age. When I was 15 my friends and I were listening to Front 242 and other pioneers of the scene back in the day.
As things progressed, so did our tastes and at some point I found myself as the singer in an industrial hardcore band which had Bands such as Skinny Puppy, Murder Inc, Revolting Cocks, Pigface and others as their main influences.
At some point we all got bored of the dark music so we started to concentrate more on dance oriented music. For many years we produced songs that were most easily described as techno/house.
In 1999 I moved to the United States and left my old life behind. With that I also left all my music resources behind, so I basically started from scratch. Where my band and I had used mostly hardware in the past, with my moving to the US and not having money to build a studio, I quickly found myself immersed in the process of learning how to produce music on a computer.
Years have gone by, and where I used to produce house music only, I've made a complete 180 and I now mostly do breaks related stuff.
