Radio waves from space, rusted metal objects, small furry animals, analogue synths digitally distorted, general apathy and decay, glossy plastic facades, black lace, leather wrapped hard against chaffed skin, emptiness, and tickle me Elmo dolls

You need to make these kinds of decisions for yourself, but we understand the need for brain stimulation to make connections in the cyber world:
We at times may sound like Modern Talking, Fancy, The Creatures, B Movie, Kano, Alphaville, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Thompson Twins, and too many other great bands out there to mention.
Beat Persuasion was created unintentionally by two freaks of music science one cold lonely day in November of 2008. Two witch doctors of the perversive beat, Producers Deron Reynolds and Zak Baney, were dwelling in the slums of internet chatter frantically trying to create a cure to online porn addiction. During the initial experiment, they were shocked to find that after two exploding hard drives and a near death experience with headphones they had in fact created, or discovered if you will, the long lost "perfect beat." With years of music experience and accolades between them, it didn't take long for them to understand the true meaning of their discovery. They had to make a band.
Though both foreigners living in the same city of Osaka, Japan, they took the brave step of actually meeting face to face to communicate a new energy and idea into the dance music scene, and they called it Beat Persuasion. Deron pushed his melody and song-writing skills to the limit within the high energy Nu Wave feel of Zak's irresistible beats, and like magic, the two had truly created something out of nothing with the first song "Your Touch." Though actually being together in a room, face to face, heart to heart, eye to eye to work seemed like a good idea at the time, they felt the wrath of cyber powers that be and understood that this undertaking was really to be done over long wires, cables and occasionally duct tape and string. Humbly, they hunkered down in their own studios, Studio Deez for Deron's Blue Orb Productions, and Dub Studios for Zak, both in the Osaka area, and continued the experiment in the same way it was conceived. In this way, they could squeeze as much real connection and humanity out of the equation as possible for a real depressing yet heart-pumping tribute to New Wave, the 80's, and the best beat production money can get you. That along with the haunting singing styles and suicide note lyrics by Deron, attributes he honed with his The Geminiac project a few years earlier, really bring the whole thing together. We hope that you agree, and will find that impersonal detachment through a screen can still be shattered to the ground with a good song.
The Beat Persuasion is an on going effort, a story still unfolding before our very eyes. All those that participate in this experiment must bear the risks and the responsibility that go hand in hand with choosing the dangerous path of loving and enjoying creative art: WATCH OUT, YOU JUST MIGHT FEEL SOMETHING.
