Funk. Rock. Soul. Blues... We don't know. It's somewhere in the middle but we just play it. We are Beat:Root, a five piece band formed from a grimy, scowl-congested but relentlessly magnetic city called London.
Spawned from humble Saturday afternoon jams in 2000 as a two piece, Beat:Root was swept up in a current of energy, gaining unstoppable momentum with the addition of each new member.
Everyone in the band brings something unique and pure from their various origins, which has molded and shaped the original groove that Beat:Root call their own.
So fasten your seatbelts, taste the flavour, shake your ass and bask in the glow…
