I am an Mc/ Producer from the Bay Area and my moniker is Manifest. My friends also know me as Chef OurBoy D or Derek. I have been doin this music thing for few years now and
i am currently goin to school in Emeryville pursuing a bachelors degree in sound engineering at Expression College. I am also currently working on a solo release/ album titled Manifest Destiny as well doing a ton of collaborations. Much love to the whole TSF (The Shellmound Few) crew, FLy Cobb, Self Advocate, Mister E. We just released a compilation album titled Time Sure FLies with guest appearances by Tampa Riggins the Prototype, Welsed, and Citizen. Also a huge shout out to some artists that I have lot of respect for the Venture Capitalists, Matre, Factor, Ceschi, and Verble and Nebahi. I currently live in Fairfield and try to stay busy makin beats, reading, being as humble as possible, going to the gym, and attending school. I also play guitar and have been in a band with a few of my buddies for the last few years. We did quite a few shows in the area under the name THe Placebo Effect and we are currently in search of a vocalist to get back out there and start performing again. At the present time I am a Pro Tools certified engineer who is looking for talented people to work with and produce. I also have a little experience on large format analog boards and I would love to get some more experience working with them. I am able to book studio time at my school and I am looking for some projects to include in my portfolio when I have eventually graduated so get at me. Much Love to all, Stay humble and prosperous.
