Beatshots are made up of 2 girls and 2 boys that like to play with eachother. The two girls (English and German) take care of the singing and percussion and the two boys (German and Swiss) take care of all things guitar.
Guitar and beat-based Beatshots have various influences from Bloc Party to Blondie, The Killers to the Infadels. The Beatshots have a raw sound sometimes described as new wave, garage rock, indie. Whatever, you can decide for yourself!
Aus England, Deutschland und der Schweiz kommen die vier Musiker und clashen New-Wave und Garage-Rock perfekt zusammen. Ihre Einflüsse reichen von Blondie bis Bloc Party. Durch den weiblichen Gesang entstehen Ähnlichkeiten zu Le Tigre, CSS oder New Young Pony Club, aber dann rocken sie auch mal wieder wie Courtney Love zu ihren besten Zeiten. Kämen die Beatshots nicht aus Darmstadt sondern einer coolen Metropole im Königreich wäre "We Will Save Your Souls" eine Top10-Single im UK und Liebling des NME.
