London Based DJ / Producer Beats Persona:
A guitarist from an early age who found an interest in the electronic dance music scene back in 2001. Particularly drawn to big-beat and anything with a broken, fat, or chunky beat, he began experimenting with sample based production. Swiftly getting bored, he wanted to make more substantial music with a bigger, chunkier sound. Today, Beats Persona amalgamates a combination of chunky, epic, electro, techy, dirty breaks with touch of glitch and euphoria.
Beats Persona applies a similar approach to his DJ-ing. Armed with a pair of CDJ's he detonates the dance floor with his signature blend of dirty electro, tech-funk, big-beat breaks and 4/4. Adding a healthy dose of custom remixes, bootlegs, and euphoria, ensures a sure-fire effect on dance floors. Beats Persona has been a regular DJ at Leicester's premier breakbeat night MINT, as well as many other gigs both around the country and internationally, supporting various highly regarded DJ's.
