From Joe Chapin, Chairman, The Elaine Chapin Memorial Scholarship Fund

Shortly after my wife passed away last year I started a scholarship fund in her name that benefits students impacted by Multiple Sclerosis. I am a huge fan of helping raise funds for ANY charity, particularly when it doesn’t cost anyone to help out.

I have joined a program that Schnucks is offering that will help raise money for the Elaine Chapin Memorial Scholarship Fund. Schnucks will donate between 1-3% of every purchase from their St. Louis area stores to the fund I started in Elaine’s name. All you have to do is go to the courtesy counter at any local Schnucks and ask the for an “eScrip Community Card”. Bring the card home, register it, and every time you shop at Schnucks and show your card, they will donate a percentage of each sale to the scholarship fund. It is as simple as that. The amounts they will contribute are detailed below as well as instructions on how to register the card you pickup from Schnucks.

Please take the time to join this program and help raise money for this cause. It doesn’t cost a thing and the benefits to the scholarship fund could be substantial. I would also like to ask you all to forward this on to your friends and family in the hope that I can make this program a huge success. Contributions 1% on monthly purchases between $0-$300 Plus 2% on monthly purchases between $301-$600 Plus 3% on monthly purchases between $601-$999 No contribution on purchases over $1,000 in a month Some exclusions apply

Please read my blog on how to activate your eScrip Community Card
