Beau Belles is an East London social and support group for young people under 25 who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans or who are questioning their sexuality.

Beau Belles is a play on words....As we are a east London Group we wanted a East London Flavour to our name. Traditionally in East London If you are born within the sounds of the Bow Bells ( an East London Church) it makes you an authemtic cockney or Eastender!
The word Beau mean in french beautiful boy/person/or in more modern terms a current flame/partner.
The word Belle means female/ or beautiful women... We like the idea of not having a traditionally sounding LGBT youth group & liked the clever play on words. The name was voted the favourite by young people who use the group. We came up with around 6 names & did a eurovision style voting game to pick our fave!!
Myspace Policy for Beau Belles:
1 – This page is set up for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people, and those who may not be sure) aged 16-25, whom live in London.
2 – Moderators of the site may be over 25 and will include members of PACE, Face 2 Face, Waltham forest Youth Service Staff, Youth Work Service Staff, and Beau Belle volunteers.
3 – Moderators of this site will not tolerate comments/pictures comments from people looking for sex or other comments considered racist, trans/bi/homophobic or offensive to others.
4 – Please remember that while our weekly group and services at Beau Belles are confidential, Myspace is open to everyone. Therefore Beau Belles accepts no responsibility from link clicked on our Myspace page, should you have any concerns please contact the Myspace support page.
