Television
The Simpsons. The greatest show ever televised. 'Nuff said. I guess Law & Order, Nero Wolfe, Poirot, Conan Doyle Mysteries, and of course Sherlock Holmes. I dunno, there's just something about period mystery drama. Maybe it's partly due to that I have the soul of 65 year old dude. Stella, Reno 911, Sponge Bob, Arrested Development, Monty Python (I mean, like I could not put it on here). I don't really watch TV that much, though, and really, your realty shows, your Despirate Housewives, your Sex in the Cities and your Queer and Folks can all go screw themselves. Oh yeah, and Ab Fab wasn't that funny. Come on, how many times can you tell the same joke and it's supposed to be funny still?
Books
Jorge Borges, Doestoyevsky, Mark Twain, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Hunter Thompson, Douglas Adams, Miguel De Cervantes, and burn me for it, but I still like Dickens.
Heroes
Franklin Roosevelt, Mohandis Gahndi, Amy Linton, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark

Clubs: I was a band geek. I sort of hung out with art class people and nerdy punks. I was the guy who had the dixieland band and was really into ska.
THESE MACHINES KILL FASCISTS.
I'm 31 years old, I live on Capitol Hill in Loverly, Green Seattle, Washington. I work as an admin assistant for a living, I'm planning on continuing in school to study graphic design and illustration and junk (as soon as I establish residency), and I play in some band. So you see, this is cool stuff that I do. I play piano, organ and keyboards, a lil guitar and tenor banjo, trombone and trumpet and I sing. I like it! I'm a gay man. That means that I'm gay. I'm into Jazz Music from the 1920's and early 30's a lot, and it gets me into a lot of trouble sometimes. But mostly, I like stuff from the general category of what you could call good pop music. I guess that means different things to different people, so it's definately not at all the case that I like all pop music. A lot of what I like is what some people, myself being one of them at times, call Indie Pop. But that's not to say that that's the breadth of the pop music I like. Sure, Chris, try to confuse us by being vague and throw up a smoke-screen so that we won't think you're an indie nazi. Lastly, knowing me will not make you cool or really cause anything cool to happen to you. I am not very cool at all. But I can be pretty nice, and I like to think that sometimes I'm funny. I also think I am pretty interesting, too. I also like to think that I am a giant monster made entirely of jelly beans and scotch. So we'll see, I guess. Oh damn it, alright, fine...I'm cool.
Oh yeah. My LJ can be found here http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=muniaLastly, I am not going to add your band simply on the grounds that you are vaguely indie, nor simply on the grounds that you play "jazz" and/or have a ukulele and/or banjo player.
Lastly, and most importantly, I am, much like Marry Poppins (if not moreso) practically perfect in every way.

Who I'd like to meet: Nice people and funny people. And by funny I don't mean re-telling standup comedian's jokes or driving home stereotypes and clichets.
Chris! I'm going to be in Seattle tonight at 7, arriving via greyhound bus. If you're free you should call me or find me. I have your 916 number, if its changed you should send me your new one. My cell phone may or may not be broken.
You're missing out on a lot here. Mainly red light runners who are becoming more fearless and insane by the hour. We need you to come back here and take control of some intersections. Happy holidays dude.
I was at the Tower Theater the other day and I started thinking..."Hey, don't I know somebody that works here?" And then it hit me. "Oh yeah!" I said to myself, "That one guy used to work here! Geez, what was his name?"
I was stumpted for quite a while, mind you, but I wouldn't take it personally. I mean, during the movie (The Darjeeling Limited...Loved it.) I was trying to remember the name of the guy from Men In Black, and I couldn't even get that name right either! I kept thinking Stevie Ray Vaughn instead, so clearly, if I can't remember Tommy Lee Jones' name, then I wouldn't feel too bad if I were you. You're a great guy, but you're not Tommy Lee Jones.
Anyway, my point is that as a defensive mechanism for dealing with our grief at losing you to the soggy northwest, we've completely blocked you out of our memory. And now here you are, posting blogs and bringing it all back. The emotion is a little bit too much to handle, but we'll get by.
...Oh, and nice touch making a fake profile for your fake boyfriend! I'm impressed. Taft would be proud.
p.s. I've noticed a lot of people are using facebook these days - I've got an appreciation station over there too - click here for that , if you are interested !
