Sucker for scary movies being, at heart, probably something of a big girl. | | Television | Most Haunted, Mighty Boosh, anything even vaguely involving Chris Morris, Simpsons (like, OBVIOUSLY), stand-up shows, League Of Gentlemen, property programmes from 5 years ago that make me feel like I might one day be able to afford a house, Late Night Poker, anything I might be on and trashy Saturday night zombie telly when I'm hungover. | | Books | Coupland, Easton Ellis, Ballard, McEwan, Amis, Eggers, Faulkner, O'Connor, Dickens, Greene and best of all, John Hawkes 'The Lime Twig'. About me:
Typical rock journalist - cynical, sadistic, not as funny as I think I am and easily diverted from writing an important Twang feature of a Sunday night by websites that everyone I know seems to be on.

Who I'd like to meet:
Gig mates, wine experts, entertainment junkies, literary sponges, Derek Acorah, groovy hep cats in general and people who, like me, live in constant fear of the all-green packet of wine gums. A nonchalant air around indie musicians' flats and the ability to make a living as a professional Melissa Auf Der Maur impersonator a distinct advantage.
Note to bands: I'm only adding bands I know personally on here so unless you can tell me my REAL first name you've no chance. Anyway, really dig what you guys are doing and you look awesome but I'd make it more Klaxons if I were you and that drummer has to go.
