About Beau Stocker

I play Drum Set in as many ways as I can, and am a Student and Performer in mostly Improvised music settings. I completed the 3 year Humber College Music Program (Toronto, Canada), became a Fine Arts Graduate of York University (Toronto, Canada), and most recently received an MA in Improvised Music Performance from the University of York (York, England). In addition to performing and teaching privately in Toronto Ontario Canada and continuing my graduate studies at the University of York (England) on a part time basis, I am interested in the development of pedagogical concepts that are conducive to Improvising Musicians. I like to play with energetic musicians, I also like to stretch my musical boundaries and have studied some of the traditional musical styles of Indonesia (Javanese Gamelan) and Cuba.

TreesOnTheOtherSide	Jul 12 2008 10:55 AM A.Timar is the prof we had? His name sounds familiar.. Yes, I ll go somewhere in august, but I m not certain as to where as yet. Till then,in Athens,studying and taking classes for some upcoming exams. I hate it. It's not easy with this heat! And as far as future plans, I have no idea where I ll be in September. I need a change. I want to run away from this city, or apt, or anything; I just need a a big change, something that will turn upside down everything. I think I ll give it another year, and then, I ll start seriously considering cutting the ties..

I took toumpeρleki lessons this year,so much easier than I actually made sounds!:) Why is that??
