    I'm writing new songs, no TV. But I'm missing Entourage, Deadwood, CSI's (except Miami), The Office (BBC version), culture and science geekstuff, didn't see how the Sopranos season ended, PPV movies...hmmm, maybe I need a TV, but only with DVR so I don't have to waste time on "appointment television."

    My mom--- an incredible survivor, great supporter, damned-fine cook of white soul food, and illegitmate daughter of Jim Thompson's father. Dad-- great whistler, funny as hell, shot down planes in the war, drove to see my bands when he was into his 60's, made band gimme caps, liked every girlfriend, was so proud of a silly gold record, from near Mt. Olive, Alabama, and somehow related to Hank Williams. I miss him every day.
