In this world, kind, sweet, and talented people are one in a million - so as soon as I found one, I knew that I absolutely had to pay homage to her career and talent! Of course I'm talking about Jennifer! It all began in 2005, without any fanfare or particular goal. I never dreamed that a little blog hosted by Splinder could one day grow into the "Beautiful Jen" site! My aim was and still is detail Jen's career, and to promote all her present and future projects! She's great, multi-talented, and I'll never stop saying how proud I am of her, and how proud I am to be her fan! Ti voglio bene Jen!

Jennifer Kathleen Wacha (screen name Jennifer Sky) was born on October 13th, 1976 in a small surfing town in Florida.
After winning a Seventeen magazine modeling contest at age 14 and spending the summer of her 15th year in Japan, Jen then moved to Miami Beach at 16, to pursue a profession modeling career fulltime. She traveled to Italy, France, Mexico, eventually ended up in New York City being represented by the famous Wilhelmina Models, all by the time she was 17. Soon she returned to Florida to studying acting and immediately was cast in “The New Mickey Mouse Club’s” show-with-in-the-show “Emerald Cove.” After a season of “Emerald Cove,” she did several guest stars including “Seaquest,” then returned to New York to study under several acclaimed acting coaches, becoming well-versed the Meisner technique. Finally, making her way out to Los Angeles, she was once again found quickly, and cast in “General Hospital.” Thus Jennifer dreams of being an actress came true.

Jennifer's credits include guest appearances on such television shows as "Pacific Blue", "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer", "CSI", "Boomtown," "LA Dragnet," "Charmed," "SeaQuest: DSV," and "Fastlane," and regular roles on the Disney series "Emerald Cove", the popular daytime soap opera "General Hospital" (where she gave life to the character of Sarah Webber) and "Xena: Warrior Princess," where she played the ever-perky and headstrong young amazon Amarice. This last role led to a starring role as Cleopatra in the sci-fi show "Cleopatra 2525".

In theater, Jennifer has demonstrated her versatility by portraying such roles as Frenchie in the Juniper Theater production of "Grease" and Juliet in the Martin Co. Theater production of "Romeo & Juliet." Her first movie shot years ago in New York, an independent film titled "Deadline", debuted at Slamdance and yet to be released in theaters. Also yet to be released is the comedy “Meet Market,” co-starring Julian McMahon. She also co-starred in the horror film "My Little Eye", and has done various other movies such as "Never Die Alone" with DMX and "Fish Without a Bicycle."

Jennifer has more recently become involved in the fashion business with "Vanitas of California", a design company founded by Taryn Band (sister of Jen's ex-husband). Taryn and Jennifer are partners now with Katie Wacha, Jennifer's sister. "Vanitas" is now considered one of the best emerging fashion labels.

After battling an illness and winning! Jennifer retired from acting in 2007 to concentrate on writing fulltime. Her first work will be a memoir, about her time spent as a teenage model and the hideous splendors of the fashion world. She is currently being mentored by successful memoirist Samantha Dunn and post-modern fairytale queen Francesca Lia Block.

Jen is also a Donate Life’s Supporter. Donate Life America is a not-for-profit alliance of national organizations and local affiliates across the United States, dedicated to inspiring all people to Donate Life through organ, eye and tissue donation, with a vision of an organ or tissue transplant for everyone in need.

Jen now lives in Los Angeles with her two cats Six and Parige, but she visits quite ofter her parents in Florida. Jennifer is a somewhat shy girl, and in real life is nothing like the characters she often plays on screen.

From top model, to actress and now fashion designer and writer, what the future has in store for Jennifer...we can't know for certain, but for now, we surely can say "Well done Jen. You go girl!" Copyright by: Beautiful Jen.
