The lyrics are written by award-winning songwriter, Holly Steele, which won the VH1 Song of the Year Award in November 2005 out of 30,000 entries worldwide. Music is written by musical genius, Monty Seward, and a major female artist will be selected to record the song and debut it live at the concert being planned for Spring or Summer of 2009 in Los Angeles, CA. .. In the words of award-winning songwriter, Holly Steele, “Beautiful Wonder” is about finding your way, learning to gain the strength you need to acknowledge the abuse in your life and to be strong enough to move on. It’s having that beautiful wonder within to find the natural survival and self protection qualities that we all have inside of us – knowing when enough is enough although it may take so long for many of us to get there – it is there. “Beautiful Wonder” further describes a person who is abused visualizing being strong and no longer allowing the abuse making their abuser wonder who they really are. The abuser will no longer recognize the person he or she has been hurting because they now have the inner strength and self love to defend themselves and will no longer tolerate the abuse. .. The “Beautiful Wonder” book is a collection of real life stories illustrating how survivors of domestic violence and abuse found their beautiful wonder within to escape, survive and heal, whether he or she suffered from physical, verbal, mental, emotional, sexual and/or child abuse. This book is being written and published in an effort to spread awareness and help put an end to the pain of domestic violence and abuse. .. .. .. The book will focus on featuring the stories of 8 survivors that have united their voices as one voice in a never-ending, ever-changing journey to deliver the message of “Beautiful Wonder” to the world. These 8 survivors are known as “The Circle of 8.” Within each story, each survivor will also share how their voices within got love from music to help them find their path to healing. There will also be supplemental stories and poetry from other survivors that will be in a briefer format. .. "Beautiful Wonder" is planned to be published as a hardcover book with complimentary music compilation CD and as a softcover book with a special offer for Internet Download of songs. .. .. .. The “Beautiful Wonder” music CD will be a compilation of 12-16 inspirational songs dedicated to victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. This CD will be unique in bringing together songs from multiple voices as one voice, individually and collectively, to empower those who listen to find their “beautiful wonder” within to escape, survive and heal through the universal language, power and love that only music can give. The songs for the CD are being considered based upon feedback we have gathered on a global scale, especially to include song choices from real life survivors of domestic violence and abuse. .. .. .. Artist Mario Della Casa will be contributing some of his artwork to auction in support of the "Beautiful Wonder" Book & music CD and the inaugural Voices Love Music concert benefitting victims of abuse. .. Artist Jim Warren is providing his artwork for the "Beautiful Wonder" Book and music compilation CD. God only knows… How hard you tried.. to escape those strangling .. prison walls of isolation trapping you.. How many endless tears .. you cried for every inexcusable time.. pain was brutally inflicted upon you.. .. How often you were in fear .. but deniedthe fatal truth .. masking his abuse.. to anyone outside your box.. How much you lied.. to protect the one.. that would inevitably .. put your life away literally.. in life's eternal box underground.. or burnt to ashes.. scattered and lost upon.. the face of Mother Earth.. God only knew he would kill you.. God only knows why he let him .. Countless times I was sure.. that I too would only be a ribbon pull.. God only knows why he didn't allow it.. I choose to see.. my survival as a gift.. God gave me to give back.. to you and all who.. have or will walk those heavenly stairs.. because another man dare.. lay his lethal hands upon you.. .. I feel I exist to fight for lives.. of other victims'whose voice box .. is shattered or silenced.. So while you have walked.. The Stairway to Heaven before me.. Rest In Peace knowing.. the present is my gift.. and I am fully unwrapping it.. .. I will not Rest In Peace until God makes sure.. that He through Me.. pulls endless purple ribbons.. to tie a bow of beautiful wonder.. around your priceless gift of memory.. ..
