The Guns in the Sky E.p is Bens debut solo record and it is a rich and thoughtfull little release with lots of melody and beauty mixed in with the good old yamaha drum machine and saw to boot! with bens personal lyrics and matured voice it is like no other.
Some may remember Ben from popular Australian 90s dream pop band SWIRL and later BEAUTIFUL WORLD, he is now branching out as a solo artist for the first time and with a great band of musicians behind him, Michael Bridges on guitars, violin, saw, Scott Meikle on bass and guitar and the newly recruited Mark Butler on drums.
The debut ep was recorded by Tim Powels of THE CHURCH who Ben has been recording and colaberating with for a long time, ben and the band will be touring the release around the country so keep an eye out or take an eye out!!!

After their great debut release "Fantasia Meccanica", the italian act HIDDEN PLACE return with an all new and long-expected album! "PUNTO LUCE" continues along the same pathtraced by its predecessor. Deep sonorities are alternated with moments of emotionalism and refinement, underlined above all by more atmospheric sounds, that constantly influence this album. Harmonious female vocals from the beautiful singer Sara Lux are opposed with the cold tones of the vocoder. An elegant mix of electro and new wave give a precise evocation of art, of the painting of a picture, of the beauty of colours and light.
