About me:
The Beauty Mark Tattoo Studio was established in 1979 by Peter Coinin, Sr. as a tattoo studio in Connecticut that would not only fulfill the requests and needs of anyone looking for high quality and original tattoo work, but would also do so in a professional and responsible manner and within a comfortable environment. The studio was unique because it specialized in custom work, which was not common at the time. Since then, we have built our reputation on customer satisfaction, excellent custom tattoo work, and traditional and contemporary tattoos from our original flash and stock flash portfolios.
Custom tattooing is not only our specialty, it is our trademark. We can take your idea, whether from a thought or a picture, and turn it into a personalized tattoo that is unique, different and special to you. Bring us a concept, a picture of a loved one, a belt buckle, a design on fabric or just your mental impression and we will design a tattoo that will be meaningful and important to you. FREE TATTOO WORKSHOP
The Beauty Mark Tattooing Studio, specializing in custom tattoos and piercing, is conducting a free tattoo workshop on October 10th through the Waterbury Adult Continuing Education. The workshop will give you everything you ever wanted to know about tattoos from the consumer’s point of view. The Tattoos 101 workshop is for people who want to know the basics about tattoos whether they are considering getting a tattoo, are just curious about them, or for parents or anyone who wants to be well informed. Learn exactly what a tattoo is and how it is applied. Find out how it affects your body, what questions to ask when thinking about getting a tattoo and learn other useful information that will help you get the tattoo that is best for you or just satisfy your curiosity about them.
Peter Coinin, a local artist who works in various mediums and a businessman who established the first The Beauty Mark Tattooing Studio in Waterbury about 28 years ago, will conduct the session along with his son, Peter Coinin, Jr., a fellow artist as well as tattoo artist, who has his art degree from the Massachusetts College of Art.
The free workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 7:30 PM at Kennedy High School in Waterbury. Register through Waterbury Adult Continuing Education, 28 East Clay Street 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM or call 203-574-8038.
