Dear AWI friends and family,

We have not really opened our personal crap for discussion on AWI so we will try not to bore you with all the gory details but we are in SERIOUS need of some help from everyone on AWI and anywhere!
We have had the hardest year of our lives and thanks to Darcy (for the help with the site) and all of you (for your support and encouragement) we have been able to keep our lives and this site going through all the shit that has been thrown our way this past year or so!
It started November of last year, when our children were unjustly taken by the state for the physical abuse I had to go through from the father of two of my children. Our then wonderful children, who came back different after the system chewed them up and spit them out (we will fix them but it will take time) our children spent nine months in several strangers homes till we got them into a safe foster home. The new foster home was the most loving family we could ever hoped and prayed for but she is booked and has too many children now. We jumped through every hoop to get them back. In July of this year they were awarded back into my custody again, but under strict scrutiny from the state of California.
In January this should all be over and a new chapter of crap that we will not go into will begin!
***Just a side note, Scott and I are engaged to be married but cannot wed until we are completely out of the system, per the state’s request.***
In September we lost a several thousand dollars due to a few bad business decisions and some money we loaned to a friend that was stolen from his house. We have not seemed to be able to make up that lost ground.
In October we lost two friends, our friend Sporty to suicide and our good friend Josh to an accidental death right after he lost his mother to cancer. He was also the singer of one of Scott’s bands Dead 89.
In November 2009 we seem to have come full circle in the shit cycle of this year and fell short of making the rent by two days, which sent our file to the attorneys’ office tacking an extra $1500 bucks in fees on top of the already overpriced rent and late fees. By the time the sheriff is scheduled to knock on our door around December 19th (their wonderful attorneys will not give us exact dates!) December’s rent will also be past due!

We are sinking and sinking fast!

(Your probably asking yourself why not move just move, well our credit is shot due to Scott’s divorce, the state won’t let us leave the county, I have fought and been beaten for 5 years to keep my kids in the same schools as their friends, they have known all their lives.)

The bottom line is that if we lose our current home, we will most likely loose our children again because the state will not take to highly to us raising our 3 kids out of a hotel room till we find a place that will work with bad credit, an eviction, a family of five, 2 Danes, 2 doves and a snake.
So here is our is our thinking, if everyone chips in a little then no 1 person has to take it for the whole, thus making it easier on everyone. There are close to 15 thousand friends of this site and if each person donated 1 penny we would almost make it and if we all donated a little more we would make it and make this site even better than it has been with virtually no money!
Due to all of this the site and the calendar (that we all worked so hard on) is being put on hold till we raise the money to get out of this mess.
We decided that for every person who donates we will give a 30% discount on the calendars when they are made and it will be personally signed by us, the staff or one of your favorite calendar gals. If you do not want a calendar then your donation will be just that, a donation to a family and a website that helps many families.
Additionally, any company, tattoo shop, AWI girl or band that donates will get their banner (that you send us) moved to the top of our that section of the page. This could be great promotion for you considering our site get thousands of hits each day thanks to all our beautiful women and the art you put on them!

P.S. Whatever money is left will be put into a separate account to help another family next year and make this a yearly fundraiser to help one AWI friendly family, charity, or a pet that we all choose. Depending on which one we go with your donation could be tax deductible by next year! Heck, if we raise enough money we could start a non-profit organization like our friends “Fuck The Whales Save A Chckn” did and help more people. The sky’s the limit, it’s all up to you!

Again, this all needs to happen around December 19th or the kids will most likely be separated and sent back into the corrupt system once again. Due to all of this the site and the calendar (that you and AWI helped build) is being put on hold till we raise the money to get out of this mess and if we don’t we will all lose AWI and the hard work that you, Darcy and all the girls have put into this website!
