Set in Memphis, TN STAND reveals the journey of a unique group of scholars, musicians, comedians and social critics as they gather for a rare reflection of brotherhood while confronting their own roles and responsibilities as pioneers of social progress.

It belongs to the warm, soulful tenor, BeBe Winans. A groundbreaking inspirational, R&B, and Gospel vocalist, writer, and producer, BeBe has won four Grammy Awards, ten Dove Awards, six Stellar Awards, two NAACP Awards and a Soul Train Award. A multi faceted artist, BeBe not only has a successful recording career, but also recently launched a syndicated radio show and returned to acting in both film and theater.

As a member of gospel music royalty, his success is truly a family tradition. The seventh of 10 children, BeBe began his career as a background singer for his famous brothers (The Winans) before teaming with sister CeCe Winans in 1987 for an amazing run of smash hits and platinum-selling albums. BeBe has also recorded songs with such entertainers as Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight and Whitney Houston.

Yve	Jul 13 2009 8:36 PM Hi there ON the 4th June I asked God ‘IF OUR PURPOSE IS ON THE INSIDE OF US, WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR SOME TO FIND?’ He said: ‘NOTHING IN THIS LIFE IS EASY OR FREE.” …..I didn’t get it……. Life is all about the equation. Everyone has a role in life; just as every leader needs followers, every husband needs a wife, and so does every superstar need fans. One cannot survive without the other, there is a price on either side, though the higher the rise the greater the fall. I won’t go into the intricacies, but the short of it is that EVERYTHING IN THIS LIFE HAS A PRICE, and perhaps Michael’s life is a perfect picture in a glorious frame of mastery, and slavery on many counts.
