I am concerned about many issues today because as we all know, we HAVE many issues today..some of the things that I am worried about and would like to help to change are, World Peace, The Environment, Global Warming, Homelessness,Breast Cancer Awareness, Alzheimer's Disease, Depression,Pollution,Child Abuse,Elder Abuse,Our Economy,our beautiful waterways and trees, Our Idiot President! (how many days before he's gone?)Education,Healthy Eating,Being at Peace with yourself; I'm tired of the rat race,Being ok with who you are,Making a future for our grandchildren and non-violence and gun control to name a few.

I like different kinds of music depending on my mood.I can listen to everything from R&B,Old School,Janis, Joni, John Lennon,Classic Rock,80's,Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin,easy listening and the 60's...
No modern Rap or Metal,PLEASE!Not much into Country either, except occasionally Garth brooks or Alan Jackson.(only 2 I know! lol)
The Godfather Trilogy;Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino,Brad Pitt,Adam Sandler stuff, Tombstone,Titanic..haven't watched too many movies lately so its hard to say..but I do watch alot of documentaries on alot of topics.
Television
I am a Criminal Justice student and I watch CSI,Cold Case,DR G.The First 48, Law and Order SVU, NYPD Blue(miss that show..) Forensic files etc.
And..Everybody Loves Raymond, Will and Grace,The new (and old)90210,and documentaries

I don't really have time to read anything except my text books.lol

About me: Ok,so about ME.I was born and raised in New York and have lived in California and raised MY FAMILY here for over 15 years so I am a New Yorker and a Californian!! The best of Both Coasts..lol..I wish I would have seen all of the struggles of the 1960's To me it was a turning point in America as a country and as a culture..I really cannot understand why there is so much hatred of each other today..Why is it so awful to be different? Why can't we see what we're doing to our Universe? Its very simple.America, is NOT such a wonderful place today with the war and the economy and the discrimination.People should not feel it necessary to conform to all the others??? Wake up everyone!! Its OK to be different! Its ok to voice your opinions on the way you wish things were in the world..Its OK.
From the words from the Great John Lennon in one of his songs,"All we are saying is give peace a chance.." and what the **** is wrong with that?
And from words from another true Legend, Bob Marley,"Get up,stand up, stand up for your right.." so lets do it people..this IS STILL a Democracy,isn't it??
This is a serious problem in our country and the world..and it has to stop.Please think about it as we go into the new year and do your part..
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet more people that care about bringing peace and harmony to all people in the world.Those that care for our environment.And aren't afraid to say so...and like myself have the passion,but don't always know what I/We can do to help:(
One other thing I would like to add, and believe me this is not a jab or an insult of any kind..but just know that the celebrities and fan sites etc. that I have on my page are each here for a reason. I am not a "Star Struck" kind of person, though I have been a huge fan of some of you;..each and everyone that I have on my friends list is here because I admire something that they've done "off screen" or "off stage" in what I see are worthwhile causes or beliefs or dreams for our world.No dis respect to any of you,but you are here on MY page anyway because of what you have contributed(not just monetarily either) to a very important cause to me.And I want to say thank you to ALL that have..from the bottom of my soul.Thank You.
